Why confined space needs a lock

An audience that sees a spherical cage and an in-pipe beam will auto-complete “already flown underground”. If the website then adds customer counts and availability, even a careful reviewer gets pulled. PipeGuardian chooses to publish the excluded demo data, and to write S0–S4 and G0–G6 on the same site, so a slide deck has nowhere to lie. The concept model on this site is user-supplied. It is not a production photograph.

What is locked: endurance, accuracy, detection rate, certification, customers, mileage, PG-X field intervention. Without date, condition, raw record and a reproduction method, the statement stays a target or an assumption. G0–G6 is internal governance. It is not a customer or grant delivery promise.

Practical benefit for funding and financing

PSTS, ESS, Qianhai match and equity financing ask the same class of question: how do you know you are not making this up? Evidence gates align work packages, budget and public sentences. A red-team review can send a page back. That is cheaper than later explaining “marketing wrote it”. Named schemes on this page are contrast questions. They are not awards.

The 18-month roadmap may move a gate right. It may not back-fill. Status may stay “in progress”. That looks more like a company that will survive the next review than a forged completion date.

How to read this back to PipeGuardian

This article is industry education, not a pilot news item. If a vendor, university, funding scheme or standard appears, treat it as a contrast question: what must our own rig answer, and what must public copy forbid. Copying an external figure into a PipeGuardian spec sheet conflicts with the evidence page.

The English site carries the full method set: system architecture, safety bounds, target specifications, the 18-month roadmap and HK–SZ operations. Field work still starts with a permit and a recovery path. Reading an article is not a confined-space permit.

Citation discipline: External products, papers and government schemes in this article are industry contrast. They are not PipeGuardian test results, customer relationships or awarded funding. G0–G6 dates do not promise delivery to a customer or a grant officer.
