Flight control and embedded
Loss-of-link state machines, sensor drivers, health monitoring, safe abort. ROS or open flight-control stacks help; confined-space constraints still bind.
Localisation and low light
LIO / vision that alarms in a degraded environment, not a demo trajectory. Must design a comparison test.
Gas and work safety
Sensor calibration, cross-sensitivity, confined-space permit language. Must be able to refuse an unfit trial.
Asset data and Atlas
Segment models, versions, interfaces, reports. Municipal or corridor coding matters more than a pretty 3D view.
HK–SZ compliance and programme ops
Hours, invoices, IP, filing packs and evidence-library consistency. Some talent schemes require non-shareholder R&D staff.
How the work runs
Hong Kong evidence and Shenzhen engineering can exist at the same time. Candidates switch between a rig, a document and field discipline. Remote discussion is possible. Collision and recovery tests are on site.
